Matthew and Kimberly had both experienced failed marriages which left them feeling broken and guarded. They had built a wall around their heart to protect it from heartbreak and pain. But GOD’s timing brought them together at a time when they needed each other most. And Faith had other plans for them. 
 
Matthew was a successful businessman who had it all: money, power, and status. But deep inside he was lonely, and yearned for someone to share his life with. Kimberly, on the other hand, was a “Proverbs 31” wife;
 
She is far more precious than jewels.
She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.
She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands.
She is like the ships of the merchant, she brings her food from afar.
She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and tasks for her maidens.
She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
She girds her loins with strength and makes her arms strong.
She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. 
Her lamp does not go out at night.
She opens her hand to the poor, and reaches out her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
She makes herself coverings; her clothing is fine linen and purple.
She makes linen garments and sells them; she delivers girdles to the merchant.
Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.

Nevertheless when her past fell apart, she found herself lost and unsure of who she was.
 
During and after their respective divorces, Matthew and Kimberly had both focused on healing and rebuilding their lives. They had both sworn off love, believing it would only bring pain and heartache. 
 
One faithful day on February 12, 2023, Matthew and Kimberly’s paths crossed whenthey met at a Super Bowl party. Deborah, a mutual friend, invited them to a Super Bowl and birthday mix party to celebrate her birthday. A few days later, Deborah called toask Kim if she would be interested in a lunch date with Matt. Kim accepted the invitation since she wanted to meet new people and enjoy leisure activities. 
 
The next week, on February 19th, Matt and Kim met at Puttery, which was a putting lounge, for a dinner date. They were accompanied by Ladd, who was Matt’sroommate. Ladd and Matt were both from Flower Mound, Texas. And Deborah, the mutual friend, was dating Ladd, making it a double date. Matt concocted a plan to see Kim again. He suggested that whoever won the game would cook for the other couple the following weekend. Clearly, he was planning ahead for another date with Kim. And in fact, it came to pass. Kim was intrigued by Matt’s character and enjoyed spending time with him. She saw him as being calm, sweet, kind and a bit quiet although he wasn't shy. He possessed many characteristics to which she was drawn. As they were getting to know each other, Kim realized that she really liked the way that Matt handledhimself and his business ventures. Kim found Matt to be attractive, smart and sweet.And Matt was captivated by Kim’s beauty and talent.Their connection was undeniable.
 
As they spent more time together, the walls they had built around their hearts began to crumble. Matt found himself opening up to Kim in ways he never thought possible. She reciprocated by sharing her deepest fears and insecurities. They found solace in each other's company and realized that they had both been searching for something they didn't know they needed; unconditional love. Love that contained all the characteristics of “The Fruits of the Spirit”: peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.
 
One night, they were together at the Great American Cookie store when Matt started singing and dancing with Kim.. From that day on, Matt sang to Kim every day. Kim loved it and it became something very special. As they sat under the stars, Matt took Kim's hand, looked into her eyes and said I never thought I would find someone who could break down the stone strong retaining walls I built. But you, Kimberly, you've done just that. And I'm grateful for it every single day. Kim smiled, her eyes shining with tears of joy. I never imagined that I could feel this way. A love that my mother and father have.” she whispered. But with you, Matthew, I feel like I've been awakened. You're my saving grace, and I never want to let you go. As they danced under the moonlight, Matt softly sang the words of a song that reminded him of the love they shared. Everywhere I'm looking now, I'm surrounded by your embrace. Baby, I can see your halo. You know you're my saving grace.
 
From that moment on, Matt and Kim's love grew stronger. They supported each other through their past traumas, and celebrated each other's successes. They found comfort in each other's arms and knew that they were meant to be together. They had found their happily ever after in each other's arms, breaking down the walls they had built, and embracing the love that had been waiting for them all along. Matt was drawn to Kim's warmth and kindness, while Kim was captivated by Matt's strength and resilience. They found solace in each other's company and realized that they shared a deep understanding of each other's pain.
 
Months went by, as Matt and Kim continued to revel in the simple moments they shared together, ultimately becoming best friends. They enjoyed holding hands, sharing kisses, and cuddling endlessly. Their bond grew stronger as they watched movies together, attended church, and worked towards self-improvement. Theirundeniable connection was further solidified by their mutual love for their families. 
 
Since the beginning of their relationship, Matt and Kim had shared a vision of blue diamonds. This inspiration came to life when Kim stumbled upon blue diamond cufflinks during a shopping trip. She had not thought of it as a potential wedding day gift. The cufflinks had simply caught her attention, and she purchased them. She thought it would make the perfect gift since they both had blue eyes. Unbeknown to Kim, Matt would eventually choose a blue diamond wedding ring for her, his bride-to-be. Later they’d discover that blue diamonds symbolize loyalty, trust, wealth, royalty, and were one of the most rare diamonds in existence. The blue diamond was indeed a precise representation of Matt and Kim’s love. Their meaningful moments, symbols of connection, and confirmations of love, served to validate that their lives had perfectly aligned. Matt and Kim decided it was time to commit to spending the rest of their lives together in marriage.
 
One beautiful day on June 14th of 2024, Matt proposed!
